It’s a well-known Raspberry Pi store located in the UK, and they are shipping worldwide. In fact, I bought mine on Pi-Supply to test their services. Also, I use it with an Ethernet cable and my favorite Bluetooth keyboard. I use it almost every day, mainly to test operating systems and software, not so much with accessories and no external circuits. What is my experience with it? I think I have rarely removed my Pi 4 from this case in the past 6 months, and I never switched to another case. This is the theory you can see on their presentation page, let’s see now how it works in real life, and what you need to know before trying it. This case is sold as the perfect fit for a media center usage, but also with a way to access GPIO pins and the SD card slot. The Flirc Case is made of aluminum, and brings a beautiful look to your Raspberry Pi, as well as an innovative solution for cooling it. So, today I will share with you my honest review about this interesting case for Raspberry Pi. I bought the Flirc Case in May 2020 (9 months ago), and I have used it for the most part. Use of them does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.Finding the best case for a Raspberry Pi is not so easy, the perfect one for everything doesn’t really exist, and we all have different uses for our Pi. Two top covers (sealed and GPIO access)Īll product and company names are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders.Note: The Raspberry Pi Zero's LEDs are not visible with this case. You can even add a pHAT without worrying about your Zeros temperature. Two top covers are included with the FLIRC Zero allowing you to hide away and protect your GPIO, or leave it exposed for prototyping your projects. Theres even a pre-installed lanyard included in the box in case you want to take your Zero somewhere other than the home. The case needs to be disassembled before the SD card can be removed. The SD Card is enclosed inside the case so it won't slip out or get stolen. This case also comes with a thermal pad that can fit to the case heatsink core before fitting your Raspberry Pi Zero. The Flirc Raspberry Pi Zero Case has an aluminium casing with a core heatsink and smooth top, offering silent, passive and efficient cooling combined with great looks.
